Kathleen Sue Miller, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formerly of Sunfield and Lake 
Odessa, MI.

Kathleen passed away Wednesday August 2, 2006 at her home at the age of 54. 
She was born May 4, 1952 in Hastings, MI, daughter of Clarence and Marion 
(Balduf) Miller. She grew up in the Lake Odessa and the Sunfield area and 
graduated from Lakewood High School (Lake Odessa) in 1970. Although Kathleen 
contracted polio at a very early age, she was never defined by her 
disability. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration 
through Central Michigan University in 1983 and was initially employed in 
areas that would benefit other individuals who were dealing with 
disabilities. Prior to moving to Oklahoma in 1991, Kathleen was employed at 
Hobies in East Lansing, the Center of Handicapper Affairs, the University 
Center for International Rehabilitation at Michigan State University, and 
the State of Michigan Department of Commerce, established her own business 
known as Marketing Matters, Inc, was employed at Saxon Publishers in Norman, 
OK and most recently for the State of Oklahoma Department of Commerce where 
she was the Director of Research and Economic Analysis. Kathleen had a very 
strong faith and was a very active member of her church where she served on 
several committees and leadership roles. In addition, she was also an avid 
supporter of the Oklahoma University Sooners. Kathleen has been described as 
being a very organized and elegant woman who was admired by all who met her. 
She is survived by a sister, Nona (Joe) Spackman of Allegan, MI, a brother, 
Duane Miller of Sunfield, MI, niece Yvonne (Jay) Worsham of Ft. Worth, TX, a 
nephew, Russell Miller of Dallas, TX, two great nieces and one great nephew. 
Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many very good 
friends. Kathleen now joins those who have preceded her in death; a brother, 
Maurice Miller (1986), mother, Marion Miller (2004), father Clarence Miller 
(2005). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, 
the Sunfield SPY's C/O RFH P.O. Box 36 Sunfield, MI 48890, or the Mayflower 
Congregational Church at 3901 N.W. 63rd. St., Oklahoma City, OK 73116. 
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M.- Monday, August 7, 2006 at the 
Sunfield United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 
6, 2006 from 2-6 P.M. at the Rosier Funeral Home, Mapes-Fisher Chapel in 
Sunfield, MI. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Oklahoma 
City at the Mayflower Congregational Church. Committal services and burial 
will be held at the Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa, MI following the
