The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, October 14, 1932
Mrs. Augusta Miller, 63, died at her home in South Ionia Friday morning after 
an illness that began shortly after the holidays this year, and had been 
serious for the past 16 weeks.  Funeral services will be at the home Monday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock and at the Lutheran church at 2:30.  Burial will be in 
Balcom cemetery.

She was born in Anklin, Germany and at the age of 22, a little over a year 
after her marriage, came to this country, locating at the time in Ionia and 
having lived here since.  She was a member of the German Lutheran church.

Her oldest child died before she left the old country.  Surviving are the 
husband, William Miller, South Ionia; these children, Walter R., of Lansing, 
Mrs. Glenn Bush, Belding, Agnes Joselyn, at home; Mrs. Vera Lafler, South 
Ionia; Adolphus, of South Ionia, and 10 grandchildren.
