Sentinel-Std. - Friday Aug. 26, 1949

Alexander M. Miller, 63, was found dead in bed Monday morning by his wife. A 
retired salesman his death came unexpectedly, although he had been in poor 
health for several years. Mr. Miller had retired after spending thirty-one 
years with the Rademaker - Dodge company.

He was a member of the Lake Odessa Congregational church in Lake Odessa and at 
the time of his death was one of its directors. He was also worth patron of the 
O.E.S. chapter and was a past master of the F & A M Lodge in Lake Odessa. He 
also served several years on the Lake Odessa village council.

He is survived by his widow, Etolia, and a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Dodge of 
Shelton, Washington. Two brothers, Theodore and Chas. both of Detroit and two 
sisters, Mrs. Clifford Blakesley and Mrs. Rachael Helmer, also of Detroit who 
survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday evening at 8 p.m. from the Pickens funeral 
chapel in Lake Odessa. Burial will be in Mounsville, West Virginia.
