Daily SEntinel- Friday, Sept. 26, 1913

Eugene, the three-year-old son of George Miller living at Pewamo was killed 
Wednesday there when a wagon which  his father was driving ran over the little 
fellow. Mr. Miller had been unloading gravel and the boy climbed on the rear 
wheel of the wagon when no one was looking. When the team started he was thrown 
off landing in front of the heavy wheel which ran over him. The father made a 
grab for the child when he saw him falling but was too late. The child died 
during the evening. A second son Maxwell died this spring.
