Miller, 80, of route one, Orleans died Monday morning. He was born the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller of Lafayette, Ind., March 19, 1886. He came to Michigan to manage Western Indiana Gravel company from 1928 to 1941 when he returned to Lafayette. In 1965, Mr. Miller came to make his home in Orleans. He belonged to the Friends church Farmers Institute in Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his wife Grace, September 9, 1959, and two sons and one daughter. Surviving are three sons, Leonard and Ralph of Lafayette, Charles A. of Ionia, three daughters, Mrs. Wilber Fate and Mrs. Lloyd Hampshire of Ionia, Mrs. Jack Cohen of Lafayette, two sisters, Mrs. Bruce Davisson of Lafayette and Mrs. Elmer McCluskey of Crawfordsville, Ind., fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. The body will be taken to Lafayette Tuesday for services Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Soller and Baker. Burial will be in Farmers Institute cemetery, Lafayette. The family will be at Myers funeral home from 7 – 9 p.m. Monday evening.
