Sentinel-Std. - Wednesday, July 15, 1953

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Stebbins funeral 
home in Sheridan for Joel D. Mills, who died unexpectedly at his home near 
Honor, where he operated a group of tourist cabins. Burial will be in Clear 
Lake cemetery near Fenwick.

Mr. Mills formerly resided on a farm near Sheridan and later at Sanford. He 
was employed for years by the Dow Chemical company in Midland. He was a 
member of the Sheridan Masonic lodge.

Surviving are his wife, the former Elva M. Palmer; a son, Meredith W. Mills 
of Midland; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Edna Taylor, of Sheridan.
