The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, January 17, 1899


John Mills, a long-time resident of Ionia county, and a veteran of the civil 
war, serving in the 21st Mich. Infantry, died at his home in Berlin, one and a 
half miles east of Saranac, on Sunday.  Funeral services at Saranac at 10 a.m. 
tomorrow.
