Daily Sentinel - Saturday, July 15, 1911

James C. Milton died Friday at the age of 65 years at his residence 116 Broad 
alley. Mr. Milton was born in North Carolina and has been a resident here for 
several years. Funeral will be held Sunday from the residence and service will 
be conducted by Rev. D.H. Shelley. The remains can be viewed before  the 
services take place. Interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Mr. Milton's death 
was caused by bright's disease from which he has been a sufferer for some time. 
With him at his death were Mrs. Milton, his daughter, Mrs. Velnie Harris, and 
son, Henry Milton. There are four other children living.
