Va., will arrive here Monday. Word of his death was received Saturday morning by his aunt, Mrs. Fred Courter, North Jackson Street. The cause of his death has not been learned. Mrs. Courter had received a Christmas package and letters earlier in the week and no word regarding his illness was mentioned. Mr. Miltenberger was married to Emma Yates at the home of his aunt, Mrs. Courter, three years ago. He was a railroad engineer in the south. Mr. Miltenberger is survived by his widow, a step-son, his mother, Mrs. Mary Miltenberger, a sister, Mrs. Frank Gates of Maynard, O., two brothers, Dewey Miltenberger of Wheeling, and William Miltenberger of Saranac. Ionia Daily Sentinel – Tuesday, 30 December 1924 The body of Lee Miltenberger who died Saturday morning in a hospital at Wheeling, W. Va., arrived in Ionia late Monday afternoon. Mr. Miltenberger was struck by a street car Friday night about 11 o’clock while returning to his home and died only a few hours later at the hospital.
