Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. April 8, 1995

MUIR- William A. Minaker of 7682 Johnson Road, Belding, died Wednesday in 
Sparrow Hospital, Lansing.

He was born  in Ionia Feb. 9,1940, the son of Bruce and Bernadine McCusker 
Minaker.

He was a self-employed contractor.

He was married to Beverly Montgomery in 1957; the marriage ended in divorce.

Surviving are three daughters, Kim (Gene) Jones of Belding; Marlene Waters of 
Ionia, and Billie Jo (Scott) Ostrander of Portland; four grandchildren; four 
brothers, Elmer Minaker of Tennessee, Charles Minaker of Sparta, James Minaker 
of Battle Creek, and Robert Minaker of Muskegon; eight sisters, Roberta Minaker 
of Stanton, Ellma Mae Dunham of Oregon, Jane Gaschter of Stanton, Betty 
Delenski of Indiana, Jackie Morris of Belding, Bonnie Thomas of Fenwick, Lois 
Lund of Fenwick and Marian Hagerman of Ionia; and nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Minaker. Cremation has taken 
place.

Memorial services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Sherwood Forest Community Room, 
with Philip Lund officiating.

Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir.
