Minard will be held from the Methodist Episcopal church Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. C. J. Kruse will officiate. Burial will take place in the family lot in Easton cemetery. Mr. Minard was born in New York, January 16, 1836, and passed away at the family home, 371 Harter street, Wednesday morning at 1 o’clock. Mr. Minard had been quite ill for about six weeks. His illness first started with grip. He went out to soon and had a relapse, which caused his death. Mr. and Mrs. Minard came to Ionia county from Wisconsin in 1866 and settled in Easton township. They moved to Ionia in April of 1907 and Mrs. Minard passed away the following month. Mr. Minard later married Mrs. Myra McQuillan, who survives him. He leaves the two sons, Arden and Ernest Minard, both of Detroit. He is survived by a brother in Iowa, and a brother in Illinois.
