G. Miner, formerly of this village, died at her home (the Ed. Buck farm) in Orange on Wednesday morning last, aged 40 years and 7 months. Deceased had been sick but a few days, it having been but a week prior to her death that she was in Portland attending to some trading. Deceased leaves a husband and two daughters and many friends to mourn her death. The funeral services were conducted from the Orange First M. E. church on Friday last, Rev. Wilson, of the Orange church, officiating, burial being made in Portland cemetery. Mr. Miner has the sympathy of many friends in Portland, especially among his old comrades of the G. A. R.
