Death was caused from peritonitis due to a cold following childbirth, which occurred January 28th. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church last Sunday afternoon by Rev. Carlisle and interment made in Portland cemetery and were largely attended. Deceased leaves a husband and three small children beside the baby. Mrs. Miner carried a certificate for $1,000 each in the Maccabee and Forester orders, and they had large representations at the funeral and followed the remains to the grave.
