Ionia Daily Standard, Sat., Sept 1, 1900
John C. Minier, another of the old residents and perhaps the oldest person in 
the county, passed away yesterday.  He was in the 98th year, and had been a 
resident of Ronald many years.  Funeral on Sunday at 1:30 at Woodard Lake 
church.
