Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Mon., Nov. 2, 1959
Don C. Minier, 81, a former resident of Ionia, died at his home in Flint 
Sunday morning at 11 o'clock.

He had been a resident of Flint the past 23 years.

He was born in Ronald township September 27, 1878, the son of John G. and 
Laura Minier.  November 23, 1904, he was married to Mary E. Dinning of Ronald 
township.

Mr. Minier is survived by his wife, Mary; four sons, Burt of Chicago, Ill., 
Maurice of Belding and Harold and Robert of Flint; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice 
Andres of Flint, and Mrs. Mildred Badder of Ionia; a sister Mrs. Stanley Dann 
of Lake Odessa; one brother, Fred Minier of Palo; 26 grandchildren and 17 
great-grandchildren.

A daugher Marian Baker, preceded him in death in 1929.

Prayer service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Reigle funeral home in 
Flint.  Funeral servcie will be held at the Palo Methodist church at 2 p.m. 
with burial in Palo cemetery.
