Ionia Sentinel - September 7 1976
Maurice D. Minier, 65 was dead on arrival at United Memorial hospital in 
Greenville, Sunday.  Born in Ionia township, Ionia county, March 1, 1911 he 
lived at 983 Taft court, Belding.  He was a life long area resident and a 
retired Belding city employee.  He was a member of the First Christian church in 
Ionia.  April 21, 1936 he married the former Ruth M. Munn in Ionia County.  She 
survives.

Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Alice) Woodhams of 
Orleans, Mrs. Leonard (Marion) Park, Milan, Indiana; Mrs. Walter (Shirley) 
Larson of Grant; two sons, Maurice E. Minier of Lyons, and Richard Dale Minier 
of Parnell; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Andrews of Lennon, and Mrs. Mildred Badder 
of Ionia.  Three brothers, Burt Misnier of Bradenton, Florida, Bob Minier of 
Genesee and Howard Minier of Naples, Florida also survive in addition to 23 
grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Services will be Thursday, 1:30 pm, at 
the Charles M. Courser funeral home with the Rev. C. J. Halquint of Assembly of 
God church, Grant, Michigan officiating.  Burial in Sunset Memorial  Gardens, 
Ionia.  Visitation will be Tuesday 7-8:30 pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-8 pm.
