Mrs. Hiram Minier, aged 79 years, Ionia county pioneer, whose death occurred 
Monday in Grand Rapids, was buried Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the 
Palo cemetery.  The funeral service was held from the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Charles Swain, 500 North Avenue, NE at Grand Rapids Wednesday monring at 
10:15.  Mrs. Minier, who with her husband, had been visiting at the home of 
Mrs. Swain, suffered a severe stroke Sunday and her death occurred Monday.  
She is survived by her husband, Hiram Minier, two daughters, Mrs. Swain of 
Grand Rapids and Mrs. Fred Baxter, of Palo, and one son, Frank Minier of 
Lansing. Also 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
