Sentinel-Std. - Wednesday, March 3, 1971

Mrs. Marietta A. Minier, 69 of 322 Lafayette died Wednesday morning at Ionia 
County Memorial hospital. She had been in ill health the past 10 months.

Born June 17, 1902 in Ionia county, she was the daughter of Fred Higbee and 
Hattie Selleck Higbee. March 16, 1920 she was married to Frank Minier.

She was a member of Elks Antlerettes, helped with the Red Cross for 25 years 
, was a Gray Lady at Ionia County Memorial hospital and member of First 
Christian church.

Surviving besides her husband, Frank P. are a son James of Ionia, two 
grandchildren, brother, J.H. Higbee of Ionia, and sister, Eva Higbee of 
Ionia.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at Myers Roetman funeral home, Rev. 
Hubert Callahan will officiate and interment will be at Balcom cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the heart fund.
