Blanche R. Minor, 87, of 240 Church St., Saranac, died Wednesday morning at
Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  She was born June 9, 1892, in Keene
Township, the daughter of Thomas and Ellen (Keller) Renwick.

Mrs. Minor lived all her life in Saranac and was a member of the Saranac
Community Church.  She was married to Ray Minor, who preceded her in death in
1961.  One brother, Forrest Renrick, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Marge Raimer and Mrs. Helen Noon, both of
Saranac.  Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with
the Rev. Byron Davies officiating.  Interment will be in Saranac Cemetery.  The
family and friends will receive friends and relatives from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
on Thursday and Friday.  Contributions may be left at the funeral home for the
Saranac Community Church.
