Lake Odessa Wave 
          MRS. W. MISKE DIED AT PENNOCK SUNDAY
   Mrs. Fern L. Miske, 45, died at Pennock hospital in Hastings, Sunday, following a
long period of poor health. Mrs. Miske was born in Berlin township.  When young she came 
with her parents to Lake Odessa.
   On October 8, 1919, she was married to Walter O. Miske of Berlin township.  The
couple resided on a farm southwest of Lake Odessa.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran 
church and the Lake Odessa chapter of Blue Star Mothers.
   Besides the husband, she is survived by two sons Galien W. in Lansing and Pvt.
Gerald L. at Camp Stoneman, Cal., and one granddaughter.  Services were held at the 
Pickens Funeral chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 and at Zion Lutheran church at 2:30.  The 
Rev. G. Neman officiated and burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
