Lake Odessa Wave - March 22, 1956
          WALTER MISKE DIED SUNDAY
   Walter O. Miske 56 died unexpectedly Sunday at his farm home on route 1.  He was
found by his wife Ruth 
when she returned home about 4 p.m.
   Dr. Daniel Clarke, Barry County Coroner. of Hastings was called and said death
was due to a heart ailment.
   A lifelong resident of this area he had been employed by the John Bean Company in
the Experimental 
department since 1941.
   Walter had been a patient at the St. Johns hospital for about three weeks and had
been released to his 
home about a week ago.
   He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
   Surviving besides his wife are two sons Gailen W. and Gerald L. of Lansing, a
sister Mrs. Alva Tasker, Lake 
Odessa and five grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 at the Zion Lutheran Church with
burial in Lakeside 
cemetery.  Rev. George Neiman officiated.
