Joan S. “Mickey” Misner, age 66, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2005.  She 
as born on April 1, 1939 in Ionia, the daughter of Forrest and Opal (Underhill) 
Shattuck, Sr.

Mrs. Misner was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Shattuck; sister Billie 
Jo Shattuck.  Surviving are her children, Darla (Joe Larson) Hahn of Ionia, 
Cindy (Gary) Shields of Muir and Angela (Rob Bennett) Misner of Ionia; gather, 
Forrest “Ding” Shattuck of Ionia; sisters, Sandy (Cy) Misner of Ionia, Judy 
(Walter) Brown of Mulliken, Jean (Jessie Gonzales) Foster of Ionia and Becky 
(Steve) Peters of Ionia; brother, Forrest “Jug” (Shirley) Shattuck, Jr. of 
Lyons; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and 
close family friends.

The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Harger, Pastor of 
Shiloh Community Church, at 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2005 at the Schrauben-
Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia.  Interment will follow at Tuttle 
Cemetery, Ionia.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 
p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
