Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Feb 1970

Mrs. Hazel Nevins of West Washington received word of the death of her sister, 
Mrs. Emma Misner, 57, Wednesday evening at Lancaster, Calif.  She was born in 
Ionia, August 15, 1912, the daughter of Vern Roberts and Etta Smith Roberts.  
She attended the Prison school and Ionia high school.  She was married in Ionia 
to Howard Misner and lived here until 18 years ago when she went to California.

Besides her husband, Howard, she leaves three sons, Donald of Lansing, Robert 
and James both of California; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Kawkowski of California; 14 
grandchildren; brother, Elga Roberts and sister, Mrs. Hazel Nevins both of 
Ionia.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Lancaster, Calif., with burial 
there.
