He was taken to the hospital about two weeks ago and underwent an operation and had been gaining and expected to return home Sunday. He was taken worse in the night Friday and died suddenly. He was born in Ionia county and had always lived in the vicinity of Ionia. Surviving are the widow, his mother, Mrs. Rose Misner, Ionia two brothers and a sister, Clarence and Gerald Misner and Mrs. Bessie Clark, all of Ionia. The body will be taken to the Myers funeral home Saturday afternoon and funeral arrangements will be made later. Monday, July 15, 1935: Funeral services for Glenn Misner, Ionia township, who died at the University hospital Saturday morning following an illness of two weeks will be held from the Myers funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. F. J. Fitch, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating. Interment will be at the family lot at the Balcom cemetery. He was born in Blanchard and resided practically all his life in Ionia and vicinity. He was employed with the Consumers Power company for a number of years and also at the Ypsilanti Reed factory.
