Lake Odessa Wave 
        SERVICES HELD FOR LUCY MISNER
   Mrs. Lucy M. Miner, 72, passed away Sunday evening on admittance to the Ionia
County Memorial Hospital.
   She was born Apri 28, 1904 in East Jordan, the daughter of Elmer and Ida (Myers)
Lavanway and attended the East Jordan Schools.  She married Archie Misner November 
23, 1921 at East Jordan and in 1949 came to Lake Odessa where they have since resided.
   Surviving are:  her husband, Archie;  four sons, Archie Jr. of Grand Rapids,
Mitchel and Floyd of Lake Odessa and Russell of Freeport;  four daughters, Mrs. Fred 
(Viola) Fyah of Sebewa, Mrs. Gladys Peabody and Mrs. Ralph (Lucille) Bowerman, both 
of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Chester (Luella) Vandergriff of Grand Ledge; 39 grandchildren:  
44 great grandchildren;  one brother, Elgin Lavanway of East Jordan;  and a sister, Mrs. 
Olive Pfeiffer of Dearborn.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Pickens-Koops Funeral
Chapel,  Rev. Gary Evans officiated with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
