                             Robert "Cy" Misner

Robert "Cy" Misner aged 70, of Ionia passed away Dec.29,2010 in Ionia.

He was born Jan.21, 1940 in Ionia the son of Gerald and Inez (Buck) Misner.

Cy would go on to marry Sandra Shattuck, June 20, 1959. He was a member of the 
Lyons-Muir Church, Northwest Council of Manistee, Ionia Farm Power Club, Ionia 
Hunting and Fishing Club, and Life member of West Michigan Rifle and Pistol Club 
of Ionia. He enjoyed Mussel Loaders. Cy originated the Ionia Blue Grass Country 
Jam at the Ionia Theatre.

He worked for the City of Ionia as a heavy equipment operator for 37 years 
retiring in 1987.

Cy is survived by his wife Sandra Misner of Ionia, daughters, Poly Misner of 
Ionia and Mary Misner (Max Gutierrez) of Ionia; brother, Arthur Misner of 
Morley; sisters, Delores (Lemule) Freeman of Ionia; grandchildren, Ashley Bibby 
Daniel Benedict, Casey (Kevin) Scheidt, Bradley Benedict, Max Gutierrez jr., 
Kristina Gutierrez and Victoria Gutierrez; great grandchildren,Hunter Bibby, 
Aiden Carter, Ava Benedict-Williams and Logan Benedict.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Frank, Richard, Zeke and 
Donald; sisters Geraldine Hellman and Judy Thorne; and grandchildren Angela 
Gutierrez.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m., at the Lyons-Muir Church with 
Pastor Bert Nelson officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 
p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Those wishing may make memorial 
contributions to Spectrum Hospice of Lyons-Muir Church. Online condolences may
