Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Feb 1982

Dorothy P. Misner, 60, of rural Muir died Thursday evening at her home.  She was a
former employee of Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons and of Arden’s in Ionia.  Born Feb.
11, 1922, in Pewamo, she was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Rockey.  She was a
lifetime resident of the Muir-Ionia area.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin; two daughters, Mrs. Leo (Diane) McMillen of
Hubbardston, Mrs. Brian (Sherry) Brown of Pewamo; five grandchildren; her mother,
Elizabeth Rockey of Portland; three brothers, Harold Rockey, and Robert and Leo
Rockey, both of Portland; two sisters, Miss Margaret Rockey of Portland and Miss
Joan Rockey of Olympia, Washington.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. from the Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson
City.  Burial will be in East Plains Cemetery.  Scripture service will be held at
the funeral home Sunday at 8 p.m.
