Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 20 Jun 1959

Levi Mitcham, 74, died early Saturday morning at Eckert Convalescent home
following an illness of several years.  Prior to his illness, Mr. Mitcham had
lived several years at Muir.  He was born in 1885, the son of Samuel and Rhoda
Mitcham.

Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Carl (Electa) Malokofsky and Mrs. Greta Jorgenson
of South Ionia; a nephew Charles Smith of Lansing and several grandnieces and
nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., at the Stone-Kauffman
funeral home by the Rev. Alfred E. Miller, pastor of First Baptist church.
