DOD: Tuesday, 11 June 1907 Lucretia A. Mitchell, wife of Wm. W. Mitchell, passed away Tuesday afternoon aged sixty years. The deceased had not been in good health for several years and about five months ago she suffered a stroke of paralysis since which time she has been confined to her bed. She was born near Bristol, N.Y., and after her marriage to Mr. Mitchell they came to Michigan living for a few years near Palo and afterwards moved to Evart. About fifteen years ago they came to Belding. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the late residence. Rev. C. E. Maxfield, pastor of the Baptist church, officiated. She leaves beside her husband one son, Austin B. Mitchell, now in the Klondike and two sisters, Mrs. E. M. Hammond of Niles and Mrs. Mary J. Gannett of Traverse City.
