Patricia Lynn Mitchell, 54, of Hubbardston passed away Friday, April 18, 2003 
at her home.  She was born April 5, 1949 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of 
Robert Glenn and Alice Frances Rienstra Decker.

She married Patrick Lloyd Mitchell on July 14, 1979, in Carson City.  She was a 
member of the Walter T. Roach American Legion Auxiliary Post 182 in 
Hubbardston.  She was a former Gild Scout leader in Crystal and Carson City.  
She enjoyed ceramics, craft shows, reading, NASCAR, and gardening.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Glenn Decker; and brother-in-
law, Harvey Evans.  She is survived by her husband, Patrick Lloyd Mitchell of 
Hubbardston; mother, Alice Frances Decker of Grand Rapids, son Brent Thomas 
Decker and Faith Ridgeway of Gowen; brothers, Thomas and Cathy Decker of North 
Carolina, Dale and Judy Decker of Williamsport, Virginia; and sisters, Ellen 
Evans of Matherton, Barb and Bob McPherson of Grand Rapids, Glenna Decker of 
Grand Rapids.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2003 at Lux and Schnepp Funeral 
Home, Carson City.  Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the 
funeral home.  Interment is in Carson City Cemetery, Carson City. Memorials may 
be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
