Patrick L. Mitchell, 56, of Hubbardston, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007 in 
Grand Rapids.  Patrick was born April 25, 1951 in Carson City to Lester and 
Peggy Ryan Mitchell. 

He graduated from Carson City High School in 1969.  He married Patricia Decker 
on July 14, 1979.  Patrick enjoyed NASCAR races, hunting, fishing and camping 
with his family.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Patricia.  He is 
survived by his son, Brent Decker and Fiancée Faith Ridgeway of Gowen; three 
brothers, Bill and Sheryl Mitchell of Hubbardston, Bob and Barb Mitchell of 
Carson City, Mike Mitchell of Alma; three sisters, Mary and Richard Luna of 
Carson City, Judy and Denny Kirschbaum of Mesa, Arizona, Carole and Larry 
Geister or Morley; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson 
City, with Pastor Carl Cecil officiating.  Interment is in Carson City 
Cemetery.  Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral 
home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
