Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 25 Jun 1962

Moses C. Mitchell, 73, of 523 Grant street, South Ionia, died about noon Sunday
at Ionia County Memorial hospital.  He was a lifelong resident of Ionia county
and was born June 15, 1889.  His parents were William and Della Johnson
Mitchell.  Mr. Mitchell was employed 23 years at Speckin Body Shop.

He was married in 1916 to Clara Reilly who survives.  Survivors also include two
sons, Donald of Clarksville, and Arthur of Lansing; a daughter, Mrs. Allen
Tasker of Lake Odessa, and 13 grandchildren.

Service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home with the Rev.
Glenn McCarty of Saranac officiating.  Burial will be at Easton cemetery.
