Billy R. Mitchell Passed Away

Billy R. Mitchell, 46, of 2830 Gibson, Lansing, died Thursday at a hospital in 
Detroit. Mr.Mitchell was a lifelong resident of Lansing and a veteran of World 
War II. he was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Fraternal 
Order of Police. He was employed by Oldsmobile for 25 years, the last 3 years on 
plant protection.

Surviving are his wife, Sally (Selma); one son, Jeffrey B; one daughter, Connie 
Sue; his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Forrest Mitchell of Lake Odessa; five brothers and 
five sisters; and grandmothers, Mrs. Mabel Mitchell of Lake  Odessa and Mrs. 
Patton of Charlotte.

Funeral services were held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Palmer-Bush Funeral Home.
