                               CARL R.MITCHELL

Carl R. Mitchell, 80, who lived at 751 Washington,Lake Odessa, died Tuesday 
morning at Pennock Hospital in Hastings where he had been a patient six days.

Born November 20, 1887 in Chester Township, Eaton County, he was the son of 
Chauncey and Addie Bennett Mitchell. August 15, 1906 he was married to Mabel 
Sheets and lived in Easton County until moving to Lansing in 1917 where he was 
employed by Lansing board of water and lights. He retired and moved to Lake 
Odessa in November 1964.

He leaves his wife Mabel; two sons, Forrest of Lake Odessa, and Lowell of Eaton 
Rapids; one daughter,Mrs.Tosco Clark of East Lansing; nine grandchildren and 
eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 pm at Pickens Funeral Chapel in lake 
Odessa with Rev. Arthur Ruder officiating. Interment will be in Needmore 
Cemetery near Mulliken.
