The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, November 27, 1954


Mrs. Frank Mitchell of Route 1, Orleans, died suddenly at her home Friday 
evening, November 26.  She was born February 24, 1900 in Ohio and was married 
to Frank Mitchell in 1923.

Surviving besides her husband, are seven daughters, Mrs. Andy Wicks of Costa 
Mesa, California, Mrs. Dwight R. Killion of Ionia, Mrs. Richard Weiers of 
Sheridan, Mrs. William D. Hicks of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Joyce Seth at 
home, Mrs. Roy E. Troxel, Reno, Nevada, Miss Patricia Mitchell at home; two 
sons, Don F. Mitchell of Detroit and Eugene R. Mitchell of Ionia; ten 
grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Mull of Lansing, Mrs. William Monks 
of Ionia, Mrs. Donald Lucas of Fowler; four brothers, Fred Robinson and Carey 
of Mt. Pleasant, Floyd of Lansing, and Harry of Riverdale.  Another son, 
Harold, was killed in action in New Guinea in 1942 during World War II.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
