Plan Reburial of Ionia Soldier

The casketed remains of Staff Sergeant Harold L. Mitchell, a World II deceased
member of the Army from Ionia being returned from overseas for final burial, will
arrive within the next month accompanied by a uniformed Army escort from the Chicago
Distribution Center of the American Graves Registration Division.

The body of Sergeant Mitchell was interred in the Ipswich temporary military
cemetery in Brisbane, Australia, but has been returned to this country for final
interment at the request of his next of kin Frank C. Mitchell, Route No. 3, Ionia,
Michigan.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in
Highland Park Cemetery.]
