The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 7 , 1955


Emery A. Malokofsky, 38, died unexpectedly Sunday evening at 11:30 at the home 
of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Malokofsky, in South Ionia.  Mr. Malokofsky 
was born February 17, 1917, in Ionia and attended the Loomis school.  For the 
last 11 years he was employed at the Ionia County Road Commission.

Surviving besides his parents are three sisters, Mrs. Norbert VerPorter, Mrs. 
Beatrice Ward and Mrs. Margaret Dean and one brother, Kenneth of Ionia and his 
maternal grandfather, Afton Smith of South Ionia.

The body is at the residence in South Ionia until Wednesday noon when it will 
be taken to the First Baptist church where funeral services will be held at 
2:30 with the Rev. W. W. Pixley officiating.
