It was with feelings of profound sorrow that people of this city and vicinity
learned of the death of Miss Lena B. Moe, daughter of Mrs. C.B. Coleman, well
known to nearly everyone here, which occurred at Albuquerque, New Mexico, last
Friday night.  Miss Lena was a most estimable young lady, was a graduate from
our city schools and resided here for years, in fact nearly all her life was
spent in this vicinity, previous to her departure for New Mexico a little over a
year ago on account of her health.  The change it seems was insufficient to
drive the germs of consumption from her system and her death occurred as above
stated.

The remains arrived Wednesday morning accompanied by the bereaved mother, who
has the sincere sympathy of all, and the funeral services will be held at 2
o’clock this (Thursday) afternoon.  Burial at Smyrna.
