Ionia Sentinel Standard – 1 August 1967
Mrs. Jennie E. Moe, 71, died Tuesday at 2 pm at Gratiot community hospital in 
Alma.  She had been a patient there a month.  Funeral services will be Thursday 
at 1:30 pm, with interment in Lakeside Cemetery.  The Rev. Arthur Ruder will 
officiate, and the body will be at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa until 
the funeral.



Mrs. Moe was born September 23, 1895, in Odessa Township, the daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Harvey Morrow.  She was a lifelong resident of the area, and an active 
member of the South Berlin aid, and attended the congregational church in Lake 
Odessa.  She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Johnson and Mrs. Harold Reese, 
both of Lake Odessa, and Mrs. Henry Rinard of Wyoming; a son Charles of Lake 
Odessa; three brothers, Wallace of Lake Odessa, Jesse of Elmer, N. J., and 
Orville of Greenville, 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
