Ionia County News – Thursday, 7 March 1935
Mrs. Peter Moes died at the Ionia Community hospital early Saturday morning, 
March 2.  She had been ill for two weeks and was taken to the hospital when 
peritonitis developed.

Mrs. Moes, before her marriage to Peter Moes last summer, was Jennie Mae 
Garret, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Garret of Ionia Township.  Funeral 
services were conducted by Rev. Paul L. Stewart of the Church of Christ, 
Tuesday afternoon, from the home of her parents.
