The Lake Odessa Wave & Times, Thursday, June 1, 1944

After a period of ill health, Marinus Moes passed away at his home on Second 
avenue here Tuesday.  He was 62 years of age and had lived on a farm northeast 
of Lake Odessa until he retired about 10 years ago and came to Lake Odessa.

The funeral was held from the Wortley & Baine chapel this afternoon with the 
Rev. Roy A. Houghton, pastor of Calvary United Brethren church, officiating.  
Interment was made in Lakeside cemetery.
