Adam Dennis Moffatt, 28, of Portland, passed away on Oct. 9, 2009.  He was born on
April 18, 1981 the son of Edwin and Janice (Hanes) Moffatt.  Adam graduated from
Portland High School in 2000 and worked at the Meijer warehouse in Lansing.  He
enjoyed playing softball, hunting, bowling, golfing and canoeing.  Adam was preceded
in death by his grandparents Edwin and Hazel Moffatt and Tracy Hanes; aunts Vera
Davis and Joyce McPherson; cousin Marvin (Debbie) Davis.  Surviving are his parents
Edwin and Janice Moffatt; brothers Michael Moffatt and James “Jamie” (Dawn) Moffatt;
nephew Mason; nieces Jena and Keira; grandmother Wyola Hanes, many aunts, uncles and
cousins, girlfriend Angela Bozung.

The funeral service was conducted by Pastor Ed Filter on Oct. 14 at the
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.  Interment was in Rest Haven Cemetery,
Belding.
