Dustyn was born on September 9, 1987 in Grand Rapids, the son of Scott and Kristi Pierson Mogdis. He graduated from Belding High School with gold cord honors with the class of 2005. He holds the sports record for the highest vertical jump at Belding High School. He loved sports and played High School football and held academic letters during his four years of high school. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, paintball, snowmobiling and his cars. He had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed serving the Lord and others in his daily life. He was currently working at Clarion Technologies in Greenville and had planned on attending Grand Rapids Community College later this fall. He had attended Greenville Community Church. He was a loving son, brother and grandson and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents; Scott and Kim Mogdis, Kristi and Andy Hansen all of Belding. His brothers and sister: Jefrie Mogdis, Andy Hansen Jr., Shaun Mogdis, Brandon Mogdis, Kayla Mogdis all of Belding. Also surviving are his Grandparents; Shelley and Bob Mosher of Lyons, Lee and Sue Pierson of Orleans, Steve and Deb Mogdis of Cedar Springs, Carol Mogdis of Saranac, Charlie and Ellie Jepsen of Manistee. Phillip and Mary Hansen of Lakeview, his Great grand parents: Elsie Kroes of Belding, Mildred Cummins of Illinois, Frances Mogdis of Stanton, Lawrence and Pauline Hansen of Lakeview, Bud and Wilma Simon of Belding, the great love of his life; Katelyn Marie Byrne of Belding, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by Grandma Bingo, Grandpa Cummins, Grandpa Roger and special friend Aimee McDougall. Funeral services will be 1p.m. Thursday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Interment will follow in Orleans Township Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
