EMMA MOHLER PASSED AWAY THURS. Mrs. Emma Mohler, 43, died on Thursday morning of last week in Simpson Memorial hospital, Ann Arbor, after an illness of several months. The deceased lived northwest of Lake Odessa for about 20 years, coming here from Colorado Springs in 1922. Early the past summer she moved to Ionia where she resided on Pleasant street. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Wortley & Baine chapel with the Rev. Harley V. Townsend of Woodland officiating. Burial was in Lakeside cemetery. Mrs. Mohler is survived by a daughter Grace in Ionia, and a son Virgil, recently of Ionia but now in the U.S. military service. Mrs. and Mrs. Clarence Hunter, cousins, of Kansas City, Mo., were here to attend the funeral.
