Mrs. Gladys M. Mollenkopf, 47, of 1302 West Ellis avenue died unexpectedly at
her home Friday afternoon.  Mrs. Mollenkopf was born April 22, 1920, in Grand
Rapids, the daughter of Martin and Hattie VanderMolen.  She married John R.
Mollenkopf October 2, 1948.  She had been a Belding resident for four years and
was a member of the First Church of God.

Surviving are her husband, John; two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Linda) Timiney of
Greenville and Miss Robin Mollenkopf of Belding; two sons, Ronald Ferguson of
Greenville and Curtis Mollenkopf of Belding; her parents, Martin and Hattie
VanderMolen of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. James Hoeksema of Wyoming and
Mrs. Ruth Oly of Tucson, Arizona; two brothers, Carl VanderMolen of Albuquerque,
New Mexico, and Robert VanderMolen of Wyoming; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Huffman Funeral Home with
Reverend Marvin Moser officiating.  Interment was in Rest Haven Memory Gardens
in Otisco township.  Bearers were Burley Rich, Franklin Clark, Carol Hall,
Charles Brakora, Dalton Rayborn and Leonard Loper.
