          KENNETH MOLTMAKER, 95
   Kenneth J. Moltmaker, 95, of Lake Odessa, passed away on Feb. 7, 2018, at
Thornapple Manor in Hastings.
   He was born on Dec. 2, 1922, to Joseph and Gertrude (Fopma) Moltmaker in Grand
Rapids.
   He graduated from Lake Odessa High School in 1940.
   On Oct. 27, 1944, he married Geraldine Compton.
   Kenneth was a long time farmer as well having been a bus driver for Lake Odessa
Schools for 14 years on Bus 12 and being a tractor mechanic at G and W Sales.
   Kenneth loved to go to the stock car races at Marne Raceway in Marne.
   Kenneth is survived by his loving spouse of 73 years, Geraldine;  three
daughters, Michele Strom, Melodie (John) Rohlman, Monica (Jim) Potter;  two sons Mark 
Moltmaker, and Michael Moltmaker, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, 
brother Dean (Phylis) Moltmaker.
   He was preceded in death by his parents;  son, Michael Joe Moltmaker and
daughter, Maureen Scobey and son-in-law Terry Strom.
   Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Koops Funeral
Chapel in Lake Odessa with the family receiving friends and family from 10 a.m. until 
time of service.
   Memorials are suggested to Ionia County Humane Society for the cats.  Online
