Born in Vergennes township, near Lowell, August 27, 1897, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fopma. January 22, 1920 she was married to Joseph Moltmaker and they moved to Grand Rapids. After three years they moved to Lake Odessa in 1923 and made their home here since. She was a member of the Central United Methodist church of Lake Odessa, the Untied Methodist Women and other church organizations, also the Tupper Lake Extension club. Besides her husband, Joseph, she leaves two sons, Kenneth of Lake Odessa and Dean of Mount Clemens; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ann VanderVeen of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Nel Cordes of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel at Lake Odessa. Rev. William Hertel will officiate and interment will be at the Lakeside cemetery.
