The Ionia County News, Thursday, December 19, 1929


Mrs. Vern Monasmith, 39 years old, died at their home in Lanisng Sunday 
night.  For many years she and her husband operated a barber shop here.  Mrs. 
Monasmith doing beauty parlor work and barbering.  She leaves the husband and 
four children.

The body was brought to Woodland where the funeral was held at the Woodland 
church and interment in the Woodland Cemetery.
