  Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

          VERN MONGER

Died Saturday September 30, 1944-age 63 at Grand Rapids Butterworth Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 2 at Stebbins Funeral Home in Sheridan.
Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.
Mr.Monger has been a resident of Bushnell Township near Fenwick for nearly 60 
years & has been ill for 2 months.
Surviving are the widow, Fannie; a son, Gerald of Battle Creek, and a brother, 
Fred of Ionia.
