Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 21 Jul 1961

Funeral service will be at 11 o’clock Saturday morning at Morris funeral home in
Saranac for Daniel P. Monks, 77, who died July 20 at Ionia County Memorial
hospital.  He was born July 20, 1884 in Boston township.

Survivors include three cousins, Mrs. Lena Wolfert of Saranac, Mrs. Alice Miller
of Fall Brook, Calif., and Guy Monks of Lowell; several nieces and nephews.

Rev. Hubert Ellis of Cedar Springs will officiate and burial will be at Saranac
cemetery.
